La Pichiteca (“we”, “us”) operates pichiteca.com. This policy explains how we collect and use your personal data, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).

What we collect and why

When you place an order we collect your name, shipping address, email, phone number, and payment confirmation (we never see or store full card numbers — payments are processed by our payment providers). Legal basis: performance of a contract. When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link. We also collect basic analytics data (pages visited, device type) to improve the store. Legal basis: legitimate interest / consent where required.

Who we share data with

We share the data strictly necessary to run the store with: Shopify Inc. (our e-commerce platform), our payment processors, and our fulfilment partners and logistics carriers, who receive your name and shipping address in order to deliver your order. Some fulfilment partners may be located outside the European Economic Area; where this occurs, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order data is kept for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law (generally up to 6 years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
